Why Work Here |
Seacrest is a community of learners. Students and staff are not measured by a score, but rather by the level of their engagement, their character, their confidence to be risk-takers, their ability to collaborate and work as a team, and their motivation to seek knowledge rather than simply hit a mark. We are entrepreneurial in nature and encourage passions, sometimes failure and always perseverance. We foster community support of individual achievement. Seacrest’s faculty and instructional approach mindfully encourages intellectual engagement, critical thinking, collaboration, leadership, creativity, and self-motivation. Seacrest holds accreditation with all four organizations: Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS), Florida Kindergarten Council (FKC), Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS). We are also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools and a founding member of the Independent Curriculum Group. -----Rhodes Conover, Class of 2014 “Seacrest is about the relationships between students, teachers and parents. We are connected and it feels like family and friends gathering to learn and grow as individuals.”
