Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Aftercare Counselor located at The Weiss School in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The Aftecare Counselor will be responsible for filling a 2-3 hour shift, Monday through Thursday, and a 4-6 hour shift Fridays. Supervision of children, being comfortable taking children outdoors, assistance with homework when needed, cleaning up workspaces, keeping accurate attendance records, are all responsiblties of an aftercare counselor.
Qualifications
• Experience working with school-aged children, at either public or private school(s)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Clean Level 2 FDLE Background check
