Saint Paul’s is a proud co-educational, Episcopal-affiliated, independent school serving over 425 students from 8 weeks through 8th grade. Our 12-acre, waterfront campus is nestled in a private neighborhood in the heart of Clearwater, Florida. In line with our Episcopal values, Saint Paul’s welcomes and celebrates families with a range of ethnicities and religions. We are now seeking a dynamic Associate Director to launch an exciting new program, with room to develop a “school-within-a-school” to serve students diagnosed with dyslexia and other language-based differences.

- Orton Gillingham trained/certified or willing to pursue
- Experience in leadership position or desire to learn

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Goal: To develop a model program for students with LBLD that is fully emersed and integrated with the academics, resources, and daily life at Saint Paul’s.
Program Launch
- Teaching students with LBLD
- Benchmarking students using Orton Gillingham assessment
- Mentoring teachers in best practices to support students with LBLD
- Developing multi-sensory curricula to support students in program
- Networking with well-established LBLD schools and leaders
- Building trusting relationships with local educational psychologists
- Building strong partnerships with students and parents
- Other responsibilities assigned by the Head of School
