Southern Teachers helps independent schools in the South hire talented teachers and leaders so that our member schools may offer the best possible education to their students.

Since 1902, our work has been guided by our thorough knowledge of the schools and candidates we serve.  We maintain our historical focus on schools in the South, cultivating relationships with and understanding of our member schools, their histories, and their distinctive missions.  We take the time to interview each of our candidates and to contact their references.  We get to know the person, not just the resumé.  The result: placements that help teachers, schools, and students thrive.

We lay claim to, and seek to honor in our conduct, the words published in 1915 by the National Association of Teachers' Agencies:

Our very existence depends on the value of our work to the educational public.
When we cease to be of service, we cease to exist.

These testimonials will allow you to judge how faithful we have been to our mission.
